Caring for Your scheel-mann® Seats

General Guidelines
Four principles apply to every scheel-mann® seat, whatever it is upholstered in.
Clean regularly, so dirt never has the chance to build up.
Avoid harsh or unknown chemicals, which can damage surfaces.
Use high-quality tools and colorless GYEON® microfiber cloths, so nothing transfers to the upholstery.
Protect the surface once clean, to extend its life and its resistance to everyday wear.
Begin by vacuuming the seat with a soft, non-abrasive attachment to remove loose dirt and debris.
For heavily soiled or contaminated leather and leatherette, use Q²M LeatherCleaner Strong. For weekly maintenance, and for more sensitive leather and leatherette, use Q²M LeatherCleaner Natural.
Whichever cleaner you choose, the method is the same.
Spray the cleaner onto a Q²M LeatherBrush or Q²M ScrubPad rather than directly onto the seat, to avoid overspray.
Scrub gently in circular motions, working one section at a time.
Never use excessive force, which can damage the surface.
Wipe away any residue with a clean microfiber towel, using straight motions.
For heavily soiled leather, repeat the process as needed. The goal is a matte finish, just as the seat had when it was new.
Once the seat is clean and dry, apply Q² LeatherCoat with a Q²M Microfiber Applicator. Spray two pumps onto the applicator, spread evenly across the surface, and buff off any excess for a matte, natural finish. LeatherCoat protects against dirt, UV rays and dye transfer for several months.
Begin by vacuuming the seats, carpets and mats thoroughly.
For heavily soiled or stained fabric, use Q²M FabricCleaner.
Spray liberally, but never soak the fabric.
Work the cleaner in with a Q²M LeatherBrush or a soft upholstery brush, lifting dirt from the fibers.
Wipe away excess moisture and dirt with a clean microfiber towel.
For a deeper clean, use a wet vacuum extractor to remove any remaining residue.
