Have a Good Trip

Some phrases don't translate so much as they arrive, and "gute Fahrt" is one of them. It's a widely used German expression that translates to "have a good trip," the kind of thing said in passing before a drive, a send-off with no ceremony attached. It also happens to be exactly what a scheel-mann seat has been engineering for since the beginning.

Read it literally in English, though, and it lands rather differently, close enough to another kind of send-off entirely to earn a laugh from anyone who catches it. We're aware. We printed it anyway.

The front carries the phrase in full: Gute Fahrt! set inside a bold yellow box against black, impossible to miss and unmistakably German in its directness. The back keeps things quiet by comparison, the small stacked scheel-mann logo printed in white just below the collar, a signature rather than a second statement.

It's a shirt with a sense of humor about itself, and a wish worth repeating every time you get behind the wheel.
